Bonus and Promotion Rules

These rules cover any bonus, free spins or other promotion you take at British Columbia Casino. They start once you opt in and keep applying until the bonus is cleared, forfeited or has expired.

1. General rules

Bonuses are extras. The rules still apply.

Bonus funds sit in a separate balance from your cash. They cannot be withdrawn until the playthrough for that offer is complete. Each offer lists its own figures in its details, and those figures lead for that offer. Our Terms of Use apply alongside this page. We read every claim fairly and in line with the spirit of the offer: a bit of extra play, not a shortcut to cash.

2. One bonus running at once

One bonus in play. The next one waits its turn.

Strictly one bonus running per account. Before you grab a new offer, the current one has to be finished, forfeited or expired. To forfeit, email [email protected]. That wipes the bonus balance plus all winnings it generated. Your real cash is untouched.

3. Maximum conversion

Cash conversion is capped on certain offers.

The 50 free spins you receive on joining have a maximum cash-out of C$100. Once the playthrough on winnings from those spins is complete, C$100 is moved to your cash balance and anything over that amount is deducted. If another offer carries a cap, the offer details list that amount before you claim it.

4. Expiry

The clock is part of the deal.

You have 7 days from registration to activate the welcome offer. Once activated, the 1x playthrough on the bonus funds must be completed within another 7 days. If time runs out first, we remove the bonus balance and any winnings generated from it. Your deposited cash is left untouched.

5. Who can take part

7. Opting in

Choose it. Claim it. Then it counts.

Bonuses are added only at your request. Choose the offer from your account or during the deposit step, then deposit. Check the offer terms beforehand so you know the playthrough, the time limit and any stake cap. If you deposited without opting in, email us before placing any bet and we will check whether the offer can still be applied.

8. Playthrough and how each game counts

Play it through once. Your game choice sets the pace.

A 1x playthrough means your counted bets must add up to the bonus amount once. Take the full C$1,000 bonus and you need C$1,000 in counted bets. Not every bet counts the same:

  • Slots: 100% of each bet counts
  • Video poker: 50% counts
  • RNG table games: 10% counts
  • Live games: 0% counts

So a slot bet counts in full, a video poker bet counts for half its size, and live dealer play does not move the meter at all. Winnings from the sign-up free spins need a 5x playthrough before they can be cashed out. Your progress shows in your account.

9. Bonus abuse and voiding

Play for fun, not for loopholes.

We treat these as abuse:

  • opening additional accounts to claim the same offer more than once
  • placing bets on every result of an event to clear playthrough at low risk
  • using someone else's payment method or details
  • staking patterns built to exploit game weighting or a fault
  • reversing a deposit after a bonus has been played

Abuse spotted means the bonus is cancelled, along with every win it produced. For serious or repeat cases, our Terms of Use let us close the account.

10. Stake cap during bonus play

Bonus play has a ceiling on each bet.

Certain offers set a maximum stake per bet or spin, and the offer terms list it before you opt in. While bonus funds are active, bets above that cap are not permitted, and winnings they produce can be taken back. Bonus spins play at a fixed stake we set per offer.

11. Changes

Offers change. Claimed bonuses keep their rules.

We may amend, suspend or withdraw any promotion. Any bonus you claimed before a change remains subject to the terms that applied on the date you claimed it, unless abuse or a legal requirement means otherwise. We post every update on this page. Send any questions to [email protected].
